We are 100's ...I would kill for your 80's. We are 100's and no rain. This will probably go on till we get a front line blow up from the Gulf of Mexico off of a tropical depression or hurricane.

I do love the heat, but when you sweat just standing and breathing in place it is a little much even for me.

ChristineChristinehttp://www.spinningstrawintogold.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6083352278604652553.post-79369623974368731552010-08-01T07:41:28.626-05:002010-08-01T07:41:28.626-05:00Thanks for your post this am. We are 3 hours north...Thanks for your post this am. We are 3 hours north of you and we have had record rain falls as well. Everything is growing well and no extra watering this year. Except a few hanging planters. That was the nice part of all this rain. Hard to weed the garden and do much outside though. I hate the humidity as well. Makes me just want to stay inside with a/c.
Are you planning on going to the Jefferson sheep and wool festival? Do you sell yarn or your fleeces?
I have three sheep and 8 llamas. Am thinking about getting a couple of alpacas. I would love to work with their wool. Well have a super day. And look forward to your next post.
